    MINICOLA, Evelyn C. - Evelyn passed away peacefully into the arms of Our Lord on March 6, 2009 at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Victor E. Minicola (1980). Loving mother of Peter (Angela) of Peterborough, Thomas (Diane) of Ennismore, James (Donna) of Omemee, Judith McRae (Barry) of Brampton. Predeceased by Yvonne Lowes, Donna Dorris (Bill), Shirley McLean (Glenn) and Nancy Jamieson. Evelyn is survived by her son-in-laws Mark Lowes and Ross Jamieson. Her family will always treasure the love and kindness she extended to our family and friends as she welcomed them warmly to join us for her wonderful dinners in both our home and at the cottage on Stoney Lake. In the early rears, mother was a talented pianist and milliner. Her love for the arts continued as she raised her family and she expressed her talents in oil paintings and she also enjoyed singing with her family and friends as well as in the choir. “Grandma Ev“ will be missed by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Catherine (Turcotte) Hughes and her sisters Gertrude Heffron, Ada Porter, Kathleen Whalen, Blanche Douglas, Sister Bernice Hughes R.H.S.J., Sister Macrena C.S.J. and her brothers Lester, Osbourne and Guy Hughes. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10-11 am at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (859 Barnardo St.) with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 11 am. Reverend Fr. Bill Moloney officiating. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Peterborough Regional Health Center Palliative Care or the Canadian Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.     Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday October 24th, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved husband and best friend of Donna (nee Chapman). Son of the late Evelyn (nee Hughes) and Victor Minicola. Beloved brother of Tom (Diane) and Peter (Angie). Predeceased by Yvonne (Mark), Shirley (the late Glenn), Donna ( the late Bill), Nancy ( the late Ross) and Judy (Barry). Stepfather of Toni (Jeff) and Trevor (Lynn). Amazing grandfather to Amanda and Daniel and great grandfather to Serenity, Tristian and Grace. Brother in law and good friend to Terry (Sherry) and the late Herb (Sue). A very special son in law to the late Gladys Chapman. Jim will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. on Tuesday November 5th, 2019 at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough. Funeral Prayers will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Highland Park Chapel. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on January 25, 2020. Beloved husband of Angela. Loving father of Natalie and David (Susannah). Papa will be missed by his cherished grandsons, Adam and Kyle Minicola. Survived by his mother-in-law Frances Lunk (Heinz Lunk). Peter was born February 15, 1942 to Victor and Evelyn (Hughes) Minicola, the seventh of eight children. Surviving Peter are his brother, Thomas (Diane), brothers-in-law Mark Lowes and Barry McCrae, and sisters-in-law Diane Minicola and Donna Minicola. Peter is predeceased by his five sisters, Yvonne Lowes (Mark), Shirley MacLean (Glenn), Nancy Jamieson (Ross), Donna Dorris (Bill) and Judith McCrae (Barry), and his brother James (Donna). Peter leaves to mourn him many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Extendicare Lakefield for their outstanding care, compassion and kindness. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Peter's Life will be held at ST. ANNE'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 859 Barnardo Avenue, Peterborough, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.     Passed away peacefully at the Milton District Hospital on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Judi McCrae, beloved wife of Barry. Loving mother of Steven and his wife Shannon. Adored grandmother to Taylor and Teagan. Survived by her brothers Thomas, James and Peter. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Yvonne, Shirley, Donna, Nancy and nephews Stephen and Joseph.
