William Joseph Dorris

Dorris, William Joseph “Bill” Suddenly on Friday, September 19th, 2008, age 77 years, with his family by his side. Bill Dorris of Brighton and formerly of Peterborough, son of the late James Joseph Dorris and the late Ella (Smith). Loving husband of Donna (Minicola). Dear father of James Michael Dorris of London, Laurie and her husband Ken Clarke of Campbellville, Nancy and her husband Bob Sagriff of Peterborough, and Karen and her husband Angelo Caravaggio of Maple. Father-in-law of Laura Dorris of Kanata. Predeceased by his son Stephen Dorris, and his sister Jean Dorris. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Samantha, Melissa, Rebecca, Brenden, Amanda, Emily, Julia, April, and Rachel. Bill was a long time employee of Outboard Marine Corp. and Central Machinery. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Peterborough, on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation with interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Salvation Army, or the charity of your choice.
